Do you live in Birmingham and want to get to know your neighbors better?
The Meet Your Neighbors microgrant program provides Birmingham residents $200 to throw a gathering (think: block party, dinner, water balloon fight) in their neighborhood.
In addition to receiving funding, you will also join three meetings with other hosts to brainstorm the best ways to reach your neighbors and throw a successful party.
Applications for this round of funding closed in August. Stayed tuned for future opportunities!
The Meet Your Neighbors program is hosted by the Iron Hills Folk School with partner With Neighbors. In the past year, cities all over the US have implemented microgrants programs funded by With Neighbors to bring neighborhoods together. Read more about these initiatives and With Neighbors.
