Do you have an idea to bring neighbors together in your Birmingham community?

The Meet Your Neighbors program provides Birmingham residents funding and training to host public gatherings in their neighborhoods to build relationships between people living in a shared place.

Those selected will receive $200 from our fund to host two gatherings over the course of the summer and fall and participate in three trainings/meetings with other hosts. Our hope is that these two gatherings in each community will be the first of many more and that hosts will continue to bring people together in their neighborhoods after the grant period has ended.

The Meet Your Neighbors program is hosted by the Iron Hills Folk School in partnership with With Neighbors. This year, all over the country, local organizers like us (and you!) are taking action to strengthen our communities by inviting neighbors to gather with neighbors.
