Are you a nonprofit tired of spending time on fundraising when you should be focusing on your programs?

Glow and Grow is a program of the SMCEC that lets helpers focus on helping.

Glow + Grow has two goals:

1) Allow local nonprofits to outsource their fundraising campaigns, beginning with grant writing

2) Use the grant writing process to teach research, literacy, and civic skills to middle and high school students

As a cooperative of fundraisers and grant writers, students and staff vote at board meetings and pay themselves for their work, just as in a worker-owned business.

In addition, Glow and Grow is overseen by the Sand Mountain Cooperative Education Center Board, which acts as its fiscal sponsor.
